The Detox Kitchen

Location: Soho, Fitzrovia & Russell Square

Courgetti based salads; Turmeric Cauliflower Couscous and Banana Pancakes! This place is extremely healthy even offering complimentary Fruit Water! Vegans can indulge here with the delicious vegan Banoffee Cake and vegan ice cream. Our favourite, however, is the Sweet Potato Falafel.

Nopi

Location: Soho

Its location is on a side street in Soho just north of Piccadilly. You shouldn't forget its location as its name ‘Nopi’ quite literally stands for 'North of Piccadilly'. Nopi offers a more formal dining experience upstairs; or communal dining downstairs which overlooks the kitchen if you prefer a more relaxed environment. Some of their more popular dishes include the Roasted Aubergine with Almond Yoghurt and Pickled Chilli and sides such as Kale, Apple, Turnip and Cider Vinaigrette. Nopi is the sister restaurant of Ottolenghi.

The Good Life Eatery

Location: Belgravia & Marylebone

We love this restaurant simply for the fact that they have no wi-fi; their website states "read a book or talk to the person next to you". They don't allow for reservations, but there isn't usually a huge queue. Think Acai Bowls, Coconut Yoghurt and Superfood Salads with various gluten-free and dairy-free dishes. They have two locations in Central London and two locations in both North and West London.

Non-Central London branches: Chelsea (West) & St John's Wood (North)

Caravan

King's Cross, Exmouth Market, Bankside & The City

Housed in a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian grain store is Caravan. They serve sourdough toast and kimchi pancakes–both of which are great for promoting healthy gut bacteria. If you like coffee, this place is worth a try as they take their coffee very seriously; roasting small batches of beans sourced from all over the world, daily in-house.

M Raw

Victoria

Part of celeb hotspot M Victoria and under the same roof as M GRILL is London’s very first, entirely gluten-free, fine dining restaurant. It has a Japanese-inspired menu celebrating raw vegetables and superfoods. M Raw boasts an open kitchen, luxurious vibe and beautifully put together dishes. The restaurant is a 10-minute walk from the south side of both St James’s Park and Buckingham Palace.

SHOT

Location: The City

SHOT keeps its menu, interior and even its name–simple. SHOT stands for 'Simple, Healthy, Organic and Tasty'. SHOT is an East London postcode, but it is in the centre of The City, so it has made this list! Don’t be fooled by the healthy eating prominence; this place is cool. One of its owners is an ex-DJ, who turned to healthy eating as he frequently felt exhausted as a result of his busy schedule (city workers are you listening?) so he started SHOT which specialises in raw, unprocessed food to help sustain a fast-paced lifestyle.
